In #001 I offered to share what it means to me to be The Shepherd of the Sheep.
The Shepherd cares for the flock in many ways:
Barriers
Boundaries
Food
Water
Shelter
Safety
Rest
Clean (wash and waste)
To enable this vision to see what I see, lets look at the following verses:
" And he also said, “It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega—the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty I will give freely from the springs of the water of life. All who are victorious will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be my children. “But cowards, unbelievers, the corrupt, murderers, the immoral, those who practice witchcraft, idol worshipers, and all liars—their fate is in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. In #001 I shared that my role to help my sheep know my voice was important and provided security.
In #002 I mentioned that protection is also an aspect of my role. My role as The Shepherd of The Sheep to care for my flock is very important to me.
